Nike Football - Milan Meeting
Circus delivered all audio visual content for the Nike EMEA RAM event in Milan. The show covered 4 area’s and was built up entirely in film studios.
The crowd entered the main area through a dark tunnel filled with surround sounds of stadium noise, chants & airhorns. At the end of the tunnel personnel dressed like referees directed them to the center of the pitch located in the big rectangular black box of 300m2 with 270 degrees projections. Here a 20 minutes fully programmed media show around Nike’s Euro Cup 2008 football positioning was waiting for the attendees to happen.

The black box contained one huge 270 degree screen of 55 meters wide by 5 meters high with removable scrims. The challenge was to create footage that matched exactly over a total length of 9996×1080 pixels using 5 HD beamers. Our goal was to create live action video and motion graphics that would look like one seamless picture on all the screens as if it was one screen. Doing so created an ambiance of being in the middle of a filled football stadium with 60.000 people supporting you.
Circus created all the animations, the dolby surround soundtrack and a short documentary for the kickoff of this football 2008 campaign.

In the other areas big 16:9 screens were used to display videos, presentations and animations.
